about us

The purpose of this blog is to promote Christian theology and apologetics from a specifically reformed and presuppositional standpoint. It is my hope that people will find this site helpful as they seek to engage the culture of unbelief with Christian truth.

As the title of this blog indicates (Revealed Apologetics), I believe that apologetics is a biblical command and hence a revealed command since it is found in what the Christian believes to be divine revelation (i.e. the scriptures).

Furthermore, it is my conviction that the revealed mandate to engage in apologetics also includes a revealed methodology for doing so, hence the name, Revealed Apologetics. Since the Bible teaches both the command and method of apologetics, I believe the name is very appropriate.

Being committed to a presuppositional approach to apologetics, I do not want to down play the important contributions made by fine Christian thinkers who do apologetics within the context of a different methodology. I strongly encourage Christians to glean from resources that span the apologetic spectrum. It is important that apologists be well rounded.

Lastly, my hope is to provide material that is simple to understand without being simplistic. The content may at times be difficult, and at times be rather easy to follow but my overall hope is that the content is understandable enough to be useful for those who seek to be obedient to the command to “give an answer”.

The content of this blog will follow an informal format as I will be writing mostly from memory and so I will be keeping away from lengthy citations and bibliographical information. Nevertheless, I believe folks who consume the content will find it to be very helpful in learning how to defend the Christian faith from a presuppositional perspective.
